Given the increasingly aggressive activities of the state over the past 15 years, I'm fast becoming scared of living here.
Because I feel the state, is using it's power, to attack me. One of its own citizens. It feels like a form of terror, but from within.
The state used to use it's divine power at worst, to attack other nations. Today it turns more of it's power on it's own people, through the scape goat of terrorism and so on.
So it appears that the abuse of power in the state is gradually getting worse over long time scales. Democracy, freedom, equality, diversity do not seem to be having a positive effect. Or the abuse of power is outrunning them.
Yet who is the terrorist. Who is creating the worst kinds of disinformation and misinformation? Is it the state, or Tommy Robinson. Who decides what is true any more and can the state still be relied on?
I do not feel threatened by new arrivals, corporations, wealth and power, or the power of other nations. I feel threatened by my own government.
I see the state is exploiting new arrivals as a scape goat for it's own perennial failure. Much as in the past it has exploited the poor as a way to escape from it's own obvious complicity.
I feel threatened by those wielding the power of the state within my own nation.
Historically, in the Soviet Union of the early 1930's, where the state was more overtly attacking and killing millions of it's own citizens, all for the greater good again, they used the same kind of psyop we're starting to see our own government using to attack it's own citizens.
During g the Red Terror, not only was it made illegal to talk about being attacked by the state. It was illegal to talk about the fact you could no longer talk about it. Anyone thought to be talking like this was quickly grassed up to the state, even family members. Like a tacit secret police service.
We saw this in the open very clearly among the public during the pandemic. It required no special training to activate these people in very large numbers, when not wearing a mask or self isolating. Worst of all those who freely chose not to get the Vax were clearly and heavily discriminated against illegally. But the state looked the other way. They seemed to be expecting these activities and welcome them just like the Soviets. A wholly unjust two tier legal system developed through the systemic abuse of state power.
The Soviets were explicitly and knowingly using terror to attack their own citizens.
But why? There is no good reason I can think of for it. Other than that social organisation has entered a state of psychotic mental illness and the state is a proxy for that, carrying it out.
I wonder if our dear leader understands how big is this thing he's dealing with?
