The EGO and Being Seen to be Saving the World

If ones ego believes it is saving the world, then this is what happens:

The world will start to destroy itself

Once the ego believes it is being 'seen to be saving the world' it can now act with impunity in getting that done. Its all being done for the cause. For the greater good. So anything now goes. 

Even after having been rumbled, as we're seeing Trump doing lately(though I do not agree with his policy either, he is nevertheless rumbling his predecessors systemic corruption) the ego of the prior so called leadership still holds strong. 

Given the planet saver now has power the tendency is also for corruption. Leadership will dish out revenue to supporters. Supporters will inevitably do everything they can to receive this fantastic unearned income. 

And having killed God long ago - this is what we are now using to wash our hands of all the blood.

Its a kind of self hypnosis and collective psychosis.
