The Archons: Cosmic Wardens of the Human Prison
And the Archontic Theatre
As Always I Speak in Myth and Symbol
A myth is not a lie. It is a truth which cannot be told in any other way. The purpose of a myth is to tell a story which everyone can adapt to their own condition - we can interpret it in whatever way helps us to make way. While retaining a central yet often remote truth. It's not asking anyone to join a new cult. It is asking for people to enter into an authentic dialogue using myth and symbol (non judgemental, compassionate and adaptive)
Today I’ll tell you about the thing which encourages all of us to avoid seeking our true home. This thing is not a coercive power, mind control, manipulation or force. All of us always have a choice to go into it or to avoid it.
Who Are the Archons?
The Archons are the cosmic administrators and enforcers of the false God, the blind, arrogant lesser god who created the material universe. They function as planetary wardens or jailers — invisible powers that maintain the illusion of this world as the only reality. Neither purely evil nor demonic in the Christian sense, they are mechanistic forces of limitation, division, and control. Their primary domain is the material prison — the physical cosmos itself, which some people view not as the creation of the true transcendent God, but as a flawed, decaying imitation filled with suffering, entropy, and forgetfulness.
The Prison and Exile Anxiety
The material world is the prison. We, as divine sparks from the Pleroma, are colonists trapped here in heavy bodies and limited consciousness.
This creates exile anxiety — a deep, existential homesickness, alienation, guilt, and shame that arises because our true nature does not belong to this realm. The Archons’ purpose is to perpetuate this condition. They sustain the veil of illusion (forgetfulness or lethe) so that we identify completely with the material drama and never remember our origin. Every layer of fear, desire, social conditioning, and distraction is designed to keep the spark asleep and enslaved to the cycles of birth, suffering, and death.

The Archontic Theatre
Archontic Theatre: The invisible stage of dualistic projections where pro- and counter-Archons enact endless conflicts (politics, guilt, crises) to hook and perpetuate humanity’s exile anxiety, keeping divine sparks trapped in the material prison.
Examples in the Modern World
Climate panic: Counter-Archon fear-mongering hooks the soul’s dread of decay onto the physical planet.
Race baiting and identity politics: Counter-Archons exploit historical guilt while Pro-Archons institutionalise division through policies and media.
Political polarisation: Left vs. Right, each side convinced they are fighting the ultimate evil, while both remain trapped in the same dualistic illusion.
Conspiracy theories: A distorted attempt to name the Archons, yet often becomes another obsessive projection that keeps energy outward.
Historical guilt(slavery agenda): hooks exile shame into group blame cycles.
Public vs private sector power: false choice trapping energy in state vs corporate control.
Free market vs monopoly power: distracts from inherent material illusion of scarcity and power. Obvious abundance is hidden by fear programs of scarcity by both sides.
Rent of land vs taxation of earned incomes: dual false solutions - illusion, to owning the prison's resources.
Atheism vs religion: both reinforce external authority over inner divine spark.
…and many more…
In the Archontic Theatre, every crisis, scandal, and ideological war is a new act in the same play. The audience (humanity) is kept emotionally charged, fragmented, and identified with roles (victim, oppressor, saviour) so the divine spark never awakens.
Pro-Archons and Counter-Archons
The Archontic system operates through two complementary forces that appear to oppose each other but actually reinforce the same prison:
- Pro-Archons: These are the established powers that maintain order, structure, and the status quo. Examples include mainstream religions, governments, educational systems, corporations, and cultural norms. They promote obedience, conformity, guilt-based morality, and the idea that salvation or meaning comes through external authorities (the Demiurge’s proxies). They keep ?people passive and invested in the system.
Counter-Archons: These are the oppositional, disruptive forces — revolutionaries, radical activists, media agitators, ideological extremists, and populist movements. They generate conflict, division, and emotional intensity. By weaponising grievances (race, climate, gender, historical guilt, etc.), they create new hooks for exile anxiety. They appear rebellious but ultimately trap people in reactive identity politics and endless worldly battles.
Why Always a Duality of Pro & Counter Archons?
How they work together: Pro-Archons provide the stable stage; Counter-Archons supply the dramatic conflict. Together they create the Archontic Theatre — a self-perpetuating spectacle of projections where humanity’s collective exile anxiety is endlessly externalised. One side offers false security and guilt; the other offers false liberation through anger or victimhood. Both drain divine energy into material illusions, ensuring no one turns inward.
Duality of pro and counter Archons sustains the prison: Pro-Archons uphold order/illusion; counter-Archons generate conflict/division. Together they trap energy in endless dualistic projections, preventing inward remembrance of the divine spark.
Where Does the Collective Unconscious Fit In?
The collective unconscious fits into the theatre as the shared reservoir of archetypes that the Archontic theatre exploits. It supplies universal "hooks" (guilt, fear, duality, victim/oppressor) for collective projections, amplifying exile anxiety across humanity.
So the theatre is not something which can easily be observed directly. And it acts with a large amount of power while not really being aware of itself even. It seemingly has a life of its own but is not aware of itself. The hooks are hidden entities - the Archontic theatre is subtle and pervasive; hooks are hidden unconscious projections and archetypes, not obvious entities.
Yet as an individual I can see a government or a religion directly. Yes. Governments and religions are visible pro-Archons — the outward structures enforcing the prison. The deeper theatre and hooks with the actual power remain hidden in unconscious projections.
Archontic Theatre and Obedience Theory
Archontic theatre fits in as the staged dualistic drama that incentivises obedience to the flawed material world system through endless pro/counter conflicts, keeping people identified with the prison instead of sovereign remembrance. Diverting energy from remembering, into the conflict. Obedience to authority always works as a way to live in an apparently free world, because it’s highly rewarded in material terms within the theatre and punished severely if disobeyed. And this cause and effect is understood implicitly by all people from birth without needing to be shown - it is archetypal. Find out more about Obedience Theory here.
Sovereignty of the Divine Spark
Remembering reveals our true nature as sovereign fragments of the True God - the insight that the divine spark within us was and still is part of the fullness that is God and is of the same essence as God.
This means the spark is not a created servant but a direct, uncreated portion of the transcendent Source - ontologically equal in its divine root. Awakening to this reality grants inner sovereignty: one no longer submits to the fallen world’s laws, Archontic authorities, or external mediators. The remembering individual rejects the false creator’s dominion and lives from the indwelling divine spark, which is more human and also more divine than any worshipped in the world.
The Archons Are Not Evil, But Necessary
The Archons lose power the moment you withdraw projections and remember. Recognise the anxiety as your spark crying for your original home prior to exile. Use active imagination, shadow work, detachment (“neti neti”), and rituals to dissolve the veil. You do not fight the Archons directly - that feeds them. You simply stop believing in the prison and reclaim your sovereignty as a fragment of the True God.
In this light, the Archons are not ultimate tyrants but necessary obstacles whose very pressure can awaken the soul that sees through the theatre. The real liberation is remembering: knowing you were never truly of this world.
Visible structures (Pro-Archons): Tangible institutions like governments, religions, corporations - the stage and props you can see.
Hidden mechanisms (Core Theatre): Unconscious projections, exile anxiety, archetypes, and dualistic hooks operating behind the scenes incentivising souls to remain entrapped.
What is Stopping Us From Remembering?
Why are most people terrified of withdrawing projection and remembering for their own divine spark? Because withdrawing projections forces facing raw exile anxiety, the shadow, ego death, and the full reality of the prison - without external drama to distract. We take a risky great leap to remember because the pain of endless exile anxiety and Archontic theatre becomes unbearable. Only then does the spark's longing for truth and freedom outweigh the fear.
Remembering where you came from and your true identity - as told in myth and symbol in all good books and films, is exactly stepping over the frontier into the forbidden zone - awakening the divine spark and finding the undiscovered country of the Pleroma within.
