Frequently Asked Questions

What is this blog about?
This blog tells you all about my cosmic exile, my propensity to obey authority above all other social actions and how I tend to project my darker side onto the world to escape from all this - to prevent it from coming into the light. The blog will tell me how this is manifest in the material world in my daily activity, in the form of forbidden knowledge. This knowledge is available all the time and is all around me yet I'm not permitted to speak it about without risking further exile from the tribe. Because in the end, we are all suffering from being born in to the same condition - a condition of cosmic exile. Each post will attempt to present the good news - that by doing the inner work I can redeem myself from all this, immediately, if I choose it, and so can we all. Instead of fueling more chaos and incoherence in the world.
I can't be more specific on the subject matter. Because it covers everything which happens on the earth, socially, politically and economically, which is forbidden from public dialogue. That is, nearly everything that happens.
These forbidden things are not illegal. It's worse. Merely thinking about these things risks calling on the tribe to send me into exile - a virtual death sentence, as it always has been.
Practically, this means our world must be built on a foundation of obedience, to a master of some kind, which I call authority. This authority is not a person but a collective of people often classed as a tribe. Whatever it is in this time and place, this authority is the root of Power. Some might call it a fallen or failed God.
My hypotheses for these ideas are cosmic exile, anxiety projections, obedience theory. The series on forbidden knowledge I label as rumours. Rumours can be useful. They can help in my redemption. If I understand their meaning correctly I will remember who I am, where I come from and where I am going.
Cosmic exile means I will look for a Master for protection. I signal obedience to this master as a priority in all aspects of daily life - "it's my first duty to my master". And abstract principles such as observed facts, morals, the law, empathy, charity not only come a very distant second place to the primacy of obedience. They are used in a masquerade to hide my shame and guilt of the obedience behind a veil of planet saving virtue
This systemic activity is root cause of all the world's great social problems and its carried out by pretty much all people equally, no matter how much power they have and no matter how much wealth they have. Yet no one is permitted to speak about it - it is forbidden.
So beware. Do not enter into your search lightly - be self aware at all times. Because you might start to find yourself refusing to obey the master you never knew you had. Yes, that will be a good thing for you personally, a possible transformation. But it will also mean exposure to fire and the sword. So I'm recommending you take care.
Who is this blog for?
Anyone who really wants to know. Anyone who is deadly serious about it. If you're honourable you will be more likely to make good way across that risky ocean. If you're honourable and proceed, you will be remembered with honour by those who came before you.
It's important to understand that this blog cannot teach you anything. You must find your own way across the ocean. My way is unlikely to help you in your way. This blog is telling you about my way. That remembering is possible if I look hard enough and am serious enough about it.
If you're an obedient instrument of authority - the vast majority of people, you will certainly not be happy about anything written here - you would be signalling your disobedience just for reading the blog and this by implication means putting your position within the tribe in serious jeopardy.
But, you may be on the cusp of a personal transformation where you recently started to see through the obedience structure that's been dominating your life since you were about 7 years old. And now you really want to know why - you have suddenly become deadly serious about it. You find you are ready to keeping looking no matter where it goes and realise that falling back into a cosy armchair is a no longer the act of those who our ascendants will remember with honour. That is to say, your ascendants lives have suddenly become more important than your own.
So, do you really want to know? Are you really serious about it?
Why did I start this blog?
Work in Progress...a long story of a life - I think, in personal transformation...wanting to be remembered by those who came before me.
I write this blog primarily for myself and my own benefit. If others can make way with it then so much the better for it. I am not trying to change the mind of anyone else. I cannot teach you anything important by writing it like an award winning novelist.
All I know for certain is that I know very little about anything important. And knowing that little means I know far more than I thought I knew before. Specifically, I know that I cannot change anyone else's mind and nor can anyone else change mine. And I know for certain that I can change my own mind, in an instant without the need of a teacher or guru.
This is the basis of why I write this blog.
I've always been a challenger. Until recently in secret because of the fierce resistance I always get to asking questions. Meaning I never fitted in well in front of authority and tribal institutions. And have spent my entire life 'acting' as a defence against attacks. It's an exciting life. I enjoy it. My view of the world is that its an amazing place full of abundance, there is no shortage of anything. My questions though, are always something like "why can you not see this?".
20 years in the so called wilderness (corporate life) I did well out of dotcom - by luck(everybody works hard). This access to a large share of material wealth gave me the freedom to ignore tribal activity in spite of the inevitable attacks. I do not see these attacks as a problem from me. I see them as a signal reinforcing that forbidden knowledge is extant. Exciting.
Following corporate life, I co-founded an economics think tank, immersing myself everywhere I could politically and infiltrating many well funded reform, protest and activist movements, I started observing that systemic problems were not rooted in the material world functions of economics and politics. But people acted from a psychological basis primarily - from thought. Yet people did not appear to be aware this activity was being Mastered by the collective these individuals followed unconsciously yet religiously.
I call this collective unconscious entity, authority. It is not an individual. It is always a very large group of individuals acting in harmony. This recognises that blaming wealth and power for the worlds problems is another escape route - a psychic projection tribal obedience uses to block root cause analysis - the search for truth. Yes wealth and power could do a lot better certainly. But that institution is tiny in Power terms compared to authority.
Ironically this think tank was co-opted against my wishes and behind my back by characters commanded by their own obedience structures in the end. (Liberal Democrats and climate change fanatics). To this day they remain unconscious of it.
Key figures who also seem to have recognised this - who I have read at length, are Jiddu Krishnamurti, C. G. Jung, Jesus, Joseph Campbell, Maurice Nicoll, Stefan A. Hoeller, Elane Pagels, Henry George, Friedrich Nietzsche and George Orwell.
This was a point of no return for me in this life. I now observe that we're all in a cosmic exile separated distantly from our true home. Causing us to burst outward in our deep anxiety and then to seek the protection of a master. This obedience drives people because the tribe rewards obedience above all else. And resistance to the tribe is punished very heavily even by people who otherwise proudly see themselves as empathic or planet savers. And that abstract principles are never really rewarded at all, though we're taught to pretend that they are to hide the shame and guilt that must be the final effect of our exile and obedience.
Twenty years later I found the confidence to write about it openly without worrying too much about the receipt of widespread betrayal and the effects of continuous personal attacks from tribal people defending their master authority.
My motive is to show people there is plenty that can be done, immediately, if you have suddenly observed there is a deep systemic problem in the world which no one else seems to know about. But 'what can be done' is not teachable, nor is time useful in learning how to do it. Each time you re-think about it, you have to immediately chose autonomy over obedience and the slavery that must be the result of that. Consider it a bit like praying or meditation - but it's not like heaven is a place you can get to. It is a continuous repeating process which you either can see, or you cannot see, each time.
Many will say "aha", this confession by myself about my own person is the sign of someone with low self esteem, I'm an anarchist or a sociopath and so on and so on. Isn't this yet another example of the tribe attempting to silence the autonomous individual through shame and manipulation - reinforcing my point even more intensely?
I can see right through this attempted punishment activity quickly, do not care and use each example as a case history I often written about and reveal on this blog for others to see and analyse.
In case you're wondering, I have no religion, no political affiliation and hold no ideological opinions about ways to save the world. Because all of them history has shown fail every time they are re-tried. I always challenge authority
What makes this blog different from others in this niche?
It asks you to go to the root of any important question, wherever that might lead. And not to flinch when what you discover in that new place is not so cosy.
This is not really a niche. This blog does not have a niche. It is talking about forbidden knowledge, which is extant. Going to the root has only a singularity to observe. There are no alternatives. There is no niche.
Yet the vast majority of people have chosen to render forbidden knowledge into the unconscious, it being too difficult to contemplate openly in public. And instead choose to be obedient to the protection of a master.
If there is a difference it is that it is asking people to go to the root of everything. Which is further than education, religion, science, leadership, and so on ever ask you to do. The primary focus of these institutions is to help you to escape from that activity - to remain obedient.
This is our niche or difference if you like - to go to the root.
What is Obedience Theory?
Basically, obedience theory, is the idea that within a hierarchical society all people are obedient instruments of authority, first and foremost. And all of us signal obedience, often unconsciously, as the primary way to climb socially and economically.
Yet the abstract principles we all make highly visible, such as observed fact, saving the world, empathy, identity, charity etc... are a sham used within a theatre of virtue to mask the guilt and shame that must come from having submitted to authority as an obedient human. Nonetheless, signalling these principles comes a very remote second place to signalling our obedience.
All people follow obedience theory not because it is right or wrong, but because it works. Obedience is rewarded highly by the tribe. Dis-obedience is punished severely by exile from the tribe, a virtual death sentence.
All other factors determining what a society is and how it operates in all aspects are founded on obedience. And obedience theory is pointing out the mechanics and motivations driving it all. Rumours are a superset of obedience signalling the archetypes we use to create narratives - stories which reinforce unconscious societal activity. Forbidden knowledge. Economics and politics are also subsets governing how obediences regulates the distribution of wealth. There are more. Suffice to say that obedience is society's top level master and everything else worships it.
You may well ask what or who is this authority we all obey with such conviction? You can find out more here: What is Authority? First time observers will be unhappy about what is seen here. That's OK. The goal of this blog is to show you forbidden knowledge and that will take you directly into uncomfortable territory. It's a signal you are on the right path, but you have to keep following it if you are serious, honourable and authentic as a person.
Do you accept guest posts / collaborations / sponsored content?
Yes, to all except sponsorship.
Though in 5 years of writing I have only had comments from several anonymous contributors and a single known commentor. No one ever reposts my posts from here.
No one has asked to contribute further or sponsor me. So I'm not expecting to need to even though I'd be delighted to do so.
On sponsorship, my view is that once you've accepted the bags of silver from sponsorship you've started the descent toward the obedience establishment by implication. This is clearly evident in social media, let alone traditional media.
How to navigate the blog using Labels
Use the labels gadget from the hamburger drop down menu top right or select from the orange titles below the title bar.
There are only 3 specific labels to choose from to define the subject matter of the post. I use one per post to improve writing discipline and reading clarity. Sometimes a post will cross over into another label. I only select a single label based on its weight in the post:
Rumours: This topic is the primary one on this blog. Rumours deal with existential, transcendental and eternal matters - forbidden knowledge which is hidden and mysterious. Cosmic exile, remembrance, archetypes of a thousand generations of collected shared memories, things which have always been here, that we all know about intuitively and never change. The basis of our existence. Stories which shine a light on forbidden knowledge, narratives, visions, myths, symbols, images, illusions - rumours. The world has forgotten about how useful they are. And the world has killed God too. Anything which indicates the memory of who I really am and where I really come from is labelled under Rumours
Obedience: Discussing the driver of people acting within social organisation as an obedient instrument of authority. And those who signal their obedience the best are the ones who rise more quickly to the top. There are no exceptions - everybody is obedient, because it works!
Policy:  I do not like prescriptions usually. Posts on Policy are what I would tend to prescribe. I've also thrown in anything to do with great recession and economics under this label: Anything to do with our forecasted great recession sometime in 2026 or 2027. And also anything to do with political economy. Particularly if the post implies changes in economic productivity or intensifies the business cycle. Basically everything which impacts and drives economic rent and the system producing and distributing wealth.
Golden rules of the blog
It's important to remember that the leaders we select are merely a proxy for the people. Us. Its key to remember they were born into the same condition we were too. So will be suffering in an identical way. To blame them is a projection of one's own exile anxiety onto them, fuelling system chaos and incoherence. It is a mistake.

So when writing here I'll try my best never to blame wealth & power for the effects of the things this forbidden knowledge tries to bring into the light. This is not to appease leadership. It is to point out that the I selected them and are only blaming them to escape from my own complicity. It is to speak truth not to power and not to weakness, but to all souls.

In the final analysis, all allegations against wealth and power are projections - attempts to get rid of the self inflicted inner guilt and shame which comes directly from having already submitted to authority, ironically. Jealousy of wealth is another way of looking at the same thing.

This does not mean to say we worship and protect leaders. We absolutely do not. We believe in absolute and unconditional freedom. The point is to ask the reader to confess that is it me who chooses my leaders and my authority through wilful obedience and that is the primary mistake. To go on to blame them for my mistake is a only hamring myself.

Go Well.

The 450 Volt Truth: From Orwell to Obedience

A Complete Thread on Dystopia, Milgram, and Breaking the Agentic State - Why People Act Irrationally and Often Violently When a Tribal Social Structure and Its Hierarchy Are Brought Under Serious Scrutiny This is a tricky topic. Please read the Obedience Glossary of Terms before proceeding Executive Summary This piece was written from a long conversation with Grok. I had to interrogate the AI quite a bit. And was astonished at how it produced such intelligence. I've included the most pertinent parts. Do not be fooled into thinking this is just another Orwell analysis. That is just setting the scene well. For what comes later on the agentic state and how power uses it to control the masses.  It may not have all the answers. It might wrong. A lot of it is very hard to believe is happening. But it still seems to fit the bizarre world of system wide dissonance we all live and partake in today, better than all the alternatives. So deserves your continued attention. By all means make yo...

A Dialogue on the UK's Accession to the United States (UKEXIT)

A Dialogue on the UK's Accession to the United States Executive Summary This initiative seeks to foster a formal dialogue regarding the potential accession of the countries of the United Kingdom , to the United States , as individual states.  Being English the main focus is for the country of England to accede. The original intent was to ask the government to lead on it through a petition leading to the question coming before the House of Commons. This was crushed out of hand by the committee leading petitions, which was not a surprise.  Simply put, this petition is asking the government to start a conversation about the benefits of leaving the UK and joining the United States. Let us call the initiative UKEXIT (yukezit) The objective is to evaluate the benefits to citizens and stakeholders, encouraging a constructive discourse on the political, economic, and social implications of such a union. If Wales , Northern Ireland , Scotland , or  England were to leave the Unit...

Government & Tax Death Toll

I'm going to show you how government and taxation causes more excess death than any other factor, even global wars and pandemics. It is and always has been the biggest genocide of all. And its deliberate. Government doesn’t just fail to save lives — it takes them, at scale.  2–6 million globally 200K–400K in the U.S. 50K–80K in the UK Every year. Every tax. Every regulation. Cumulatively since 1970 government and tax killed between 160 and 300 million people across the globe  More than all 20th century wars and genocides combined (260M) In the U.S. ten times more than all U.S. combat deaths in history (10 * 1.2M) In the UK equivalent to 1 in 15 of all deaths And the nations with more regulations and a higher tax to GDP ratio such as the UK and US, tend to kill more of their own citizens per capita. The poorest nations have a better record than the richest. All this excess death is rooted in the institutions of taxation - the theft of private property, by force, against your fr...
