I'm going to tell you about a 'zero volt rebellion'. This is a metaphor for acting for the first time in civilised history to have an authentic dialogue on the world's great social problems.
It's common to observe that every side politically is in an eternal battle for power and can only see the enemy as insane or evil. But a 'zero volt rebel' suggests that all sides are actually acting politically rationally because the technique used always works.
Obviously this is particularly topical today and for the past ten years or so in global power terms.
I'll base what I'm telling you on this analysis: The 450 Volt Truth: From Orwell to Obedience which shows how a foundational structure of obedience is what allows a society to maintain control at scale, in spite of the guaranteed destructive consequences.
What is asking for is an authentic dialogue about the great social problems, to finally take place. It implies not that society in general is a bad thing. But when it's run as a hierarchy, that is to say 'at extreme scale', a hierarchy is the only way it can be sustained, but will always end up in tears. This implies a decentralised society might be on the table for consideration. Not anarchy!
I will call the activity of rebelling here the action of undertaking the necessary and authentic dialogue on the world's great social problems which has never yet been had - a 'zero volt rebellion'.
Obedience. To authority. The Tribe. Governed by the tribal narrative.
There will be several competing tribes in an eternal battle for power.
To say it is brain rot is a useful metaphor. But it's not descriptive of what is really happening.
Obedience to authority far outweighs abstract principles(such as saving the planet or patriotism)
Authority is the collective of people - 'the tribe' who follow a particular narrative or worldview.
Wealth & Power are merely acting as a proxy for those who allow them to lead - the tribe allows it, they cannot be blamed except by a neurotic tribe.
By signalling obedience to this authority, one is most likely to climb the social ladder of that particular tribe.
There are no exceptions to this rule - all people are 'at it'. No exceptions. All that differs is one's tribe and how obedient one is prepared to be to it.
e.g. I am willing to kill more people with impunity, IF, the tribe gives me permission. And doing this will be rewarded by the tribe.
Look at antifa, the dems, waltz, the karens, the crooked immigrants as an example of that particular tribe. Do they not reward each other for the killing? It works!
Power is not necessarily evil. It uses obedience not because it is bad. But because IT WORKS! And the tribe allows it to proceed.
I do not agree with obedience as the key driver of a society's morals and law, per se. I am simply pointing it out for further scrutiny.
I have told you about a 'zero volt rebellion'. This is a metaphor for acting for the first time in civilised history to have an authentic dialogue on the world's great social problems.
