In Every Age Beliefs are at War with God

We all have to be on constant guard, against beliefs,  Beliefs are not truth, they are beliefs, We all swear by our belief, protecting and nurturing it like a child, So why this urgent warning? Every tribe has its own belief system, a narrative which binds the tribe, Follow it and go far, deny it and be sent into exile, The belief dominates the tribe above all else, Every tribe has its own dominant belief, it's everything for the tribe, When two beliefs collide, we're instantly in danger, Two tribes, are now in conflict, The motive for believing is protection given by the tribe, My tribe closes ranks to protect me from other beliefs, But choosing to reject all beliefs is a lonely place to be, The need for social comfort is great, the desire to belong irresistible, People are willing to boost the death toll of their own people, Rather than to escape the belief, The excess death toll is the price we pay for the comfort of beliefs, Thats' not to say that beliefs have no utilit...

Do Not Forget

The earth is not where we are all heading. Yes, try and do justice on the earth. But do not try so hard you forget who you really are, where you came from and where you are going.

I Suggest You Take a Look Around You Right Now

Imagine a world where there was no shortage of anything anymore.   Where there was plenty of food for everyone. Where wealth was being produced in such enormous amounts that nobody will ever go without ever again.  Imagine a world where there's no fear necessary any more about people who live in distant lands. Because we now know everybody in this world. There are no strangers.  How do you think the people in that kind of world will behave?  I suggest you take a look around you right now. I'm not having a go at the whole world in its current crazy state. I am saying that the world needs existential crisis to give it meaning.  And without meaning the people start behaving very strangely. Or to mitigate, we create, out of thin air, another existential crisis, to restore 'meaning'. A world without meaning is a very scary place for everyone to live in. This is not to say that a world without meaning is better or worse. It is to say that it has never...

No More Heros Anymore & The Lonely Dragon

In the old days, the hero would walk out across the frontier and into the forbidden zone, to speak to the dragon. To find out. Not to dismiss the dragon or try to kill the dragon. But to ask what the dragon meant by what he did and said. Free from judgement. Only to listen, not to preach.  Of course the hero was often killed for trying to listen to the dragon. No one else had listened to the dragon before, so do you blame the dragon? But sometimes, the hero would make it out of the forbidden zone, back home. Where he would tell his own kind what the dragon meant, how he felt and why he was doing it. And his own kind would kill him for telling them. So there are no more hero's anymore. And the dragon remains, alone.

The Unknown Condition and Facing the Dragon

I'm coming to the view that all social crises are artificially created. No matter which side one is on the political spectrum. All of us are creating crises out of nothing and then amplifying them internally. There's no limit to how far we will go in using our imagination to create a new crisis: climate change doctrine, identity politics, the far right, population control, the so called cabal of wealth and power, all conspiracy theories, and so on and so on.  There seems to be no end to what will be dreamed up next to escape from the one thing we all must do.  No one seems to be exempt from blaming someone or something 'out there' for problems "I" have already  deliberately created.  And none of us seems ready to accept that "I" use these dreamed up illusions to self-amplify this imaginary external enemy.  But why? We were all put here - as far as we know, with or without choice, and are all born here into an identical condition whatever our history....

The Spoken Mirror - Summarised

This is a self help tool - or a principle of existential psychology. It is not a weapon to win with. You will be the primary beneficiary. Others may adopt it when they independently bear witness to your success and when they see it has that merit. The Core Idea: The "Spoken Mirror" This post details a deep human paradox: people fiercely demand freedom, yet they immediately run into the arms of "fake masters" —like rigid political tribes, religious dogmas, or hyper-specific identity groups—to escape the terrifying anxiety of standing completely alone. When this contradiction is pointed out directly, people lock down in defensive anger. The original breakthrough here is a conversational technique called The Spoken Mirror : instead of accusing the other person of being blind, you confess the exact same trap within yourself using universal myths and stories(archetypes), allowing others who want to know to safely see their own reflection in your vulnerability. Why Peo...

AI is Just Another Machine. So Why Are So Many Irrationally Scared of It?

Many people seem to be acting irrationally about AI with no literal supporting reasons for it. This is why they say that AI will one day become a conscious living autonomous entity. What they really mean, but are saying in myth and symbol, is that a new group of people who benefit from it will use its benefits, but not for good reasons. They are absolutely correct to warn of this danger. But cannot say it literally because they are scared of being attacked for it or are seen to be complicit in the danger they point out so well.  People are not really scared of it directly. They are pointing at the dangers they have witnessed many times before when enormous new found power is placed in the hands of other people. Some people do not trust themselves yet to use the huge increase in productive power a new labour saving invention like AI brings to the world. But cannot say that directly for fear of harm or complicity. Is it possible this mistake in thinking AI is conscious is peop...

The Spoken Mirror Theory

I treat this theory as a personal development tool. An academic would call it a theory of existential psychoanalysis. A mystic would call it a confession made through dialogue with the archons. Jung would call it active imagination on steroids. The Theory: We All Choose a Master, As Willing Slaves 1. Existential Terror (The Primordial Void) The foundational human condition is one of absolute autonomy, which brings with it terrifying isolation and total responsibility. The human nervous system is biologically and psychologically unequipped to handle this weight without structure. Absolute freedom feels like falling into a cosmic void, triggering deep existential dread - a difficult to control anxiety. Everyone finds themself in this condition, there are no exceptions. 2. The Fake Master (The Illusion of Safety) To escape this terror, the individual seeks a shelter, or a 'Master.' This can be a deity, a political ideology, a state apparatus, or a rigid identity group (race, gende...

The Spoken Mirror - An Original Work of Existential Philosophy

I call my technique 'making a confession'. My dialogue is made in the first person - me, myself, I. Making a personal confession like this, takes the heat of judgement off the listener for objective observation. I speak through archetypes - myths, symbols, story's, in the language of the listener. This means the listener can feel what it all means directly, again free from judgement - their own archetype is universal and is already felt intuitively. It shows that the speaker is 'listening'. My dialogue is made in the first person - me, myself, I. Has anyone looked at it this way before? this sounds like a new theory. what shall I call it? give an exec summary of the 3 core factors of existential terror, the fake master, the positive feedback loop. then give the remedy of my dialogue with the archetype in myth and symbol The concept of "making a confession" as a deliberate conversational methodology—using personal vulnerability as a philosophical mirror to...

The Spoken Mirror - Draft Book Outline

To write a book that speaks to all corners of our fractured world—political partisans, religious devotees, and divided families alike—the structure must mirror your technique: it must feel like a gift, not a lecture. It cannot name-call modern groups, or it will become the very thing it seeks to heal. Here is a comprehensive, chapter-by-chapter blueprint for your book, designed to be universally accessible, deeply psychological, and highly actionable. Book Title Ideas The Confessional Mirror: Healing our Ideological Blindness through Shared Vulnerability The Illusion of the Master: Why We Flee Autonomy and How to Find True Freedom The Mythic Backdoor: Speaking to the Archetype in an Age of Tribal Rage The Structural Logic of the Book The book follows a narrative journey across four distinct phases: The Diagnosis: Revealing the universal human panic under the surface. The Trap: Explaining how our solutions create our suffering. The Anatomy: Deconstructing your new theory and conve...
