A Myth is a Truth Which Cannot Be Told in Any Other Way

Think about conspiracy theories and why so many people believe them to be true, in such large numbers. Are they trying to tell you something in myth and symbol because they cannot tell you about it in any other way?

The mythical story does not have to be directly related to the subject matter, that is the point of a myth - many people can find meaning in a myth when the literal sense is nearly always found wanting. And there can be many equally useful interpretations to each of these believers.

I'm not saying conspiracy theory has any particular reliability. I am saying there is a huge proportion of the population who believe in them and it's a terrible mistake to ignore that if you are a wise leader and servant.

Take quantum computing for a primary and topical exposition here. There is a huge myth and symbol being distributed by venture capital and some of the world's biggest corporations when they talk about cracking RSA2048 or SHA-256 - 2 of the most widely used ciphers, making most communications and crypto currencies immediately vulnerable. 

But look at the cold reality. Nothing is there. Fusion power has always been about 40 years away since the war when it was first experimented on. Or the grand unified theory. Or it's like the second coming. And so on and so on. These groups of well meaning people are telling you a myth which cannot be told in any other way.

It's no use claiming they're doing it for a fast buck, that's the result of a child's analysis. If something is this big money is of little import. And it's the height of arrogance to tell them it is a lie because whatever it is, is actually happening. They just do not have the literal language to point out this truth and a myth suffices already.

What the post quantum extremists are doing is telling us a mythical story on the truth about something which cannot be told in any other way. A myth is not a lie. It is a myth. A real thing, a truth, of far higher value than material wealth on the earth.

Now what on earth is the truth the post quantum cult are trying to tell us about?

Given the scale of their story it is something big, very big. Something very real is happening in the world, which is wrong or badly misunderstood and which no one has the language to describe literally.

I bet you can't guess what it is yet? It's much closer to home than you will be comfortable with. 

There is one material world thing which is ultra important yet everyone pretends it's not there. This thing is right under your feet and you refuse to see it even when it's laid out in front of you with perfect clarity. That truth has not yet found its own myth and symbol to tell you about it.

But that material world root cause is still only a proximate one to the very big truth everyone ignores directly but has always discussed in myth and symbol. Often as a conspiracy theory, otherwise as a religion, but not always. 

Daily, how are you dealing with your inevitable death? 

Imagine the situation you regularly find yourself in - thinking about the truth that inevitably you will die and there is nothing in the material world that can tell you about it, not science, not a guru or teacher, not your mother or father or friends, not your dear leader. No one. There is nothing on the earth that can help you understand what is going to happen next. Right?

And it's no use boldly making the claim that "nothing will happen next, I will just disappear". You do not know that. That's an arrogant claim as a consequence of the fear which comes directly from not attending to this truth. That would be circular reasoning.

While here, are you thinking about the future of your children, your wife who you love dearly, the integrity of your nation and its borders, if your political party will find power, if there's enough in your estate to give you a piece of immortality, whether or not God exists? 

No! You are thinking about where the hell you're going next...into the unknown. And you are thinking acutely about this and nothing else. 

THIS is the truth myth is telling you about when there is no other way to tell you about it. This is what the flat earthers are really saying. This is what the moon landing hoax brigade wants you to look at seriously. This is why the post quantum cult wants you to believe you can factor more integers than there are atoms in the universe already. 

Because myth and symbol is the only way on the earth to tell you about this truth. A myth is a truth which cannot be told in any other way. It is not a lie.

And there's nothing more important to you as an autonomous individual, than this.
