Bitcoin Core (BTC) is Digital Gold

I'm surprised about the loud support for Lightning imaging its anything more than coincidental with bitcoin. 

It's logically, physically and legally an independent network to the BTC blockchain.

Saying it's Later 2 on top of Layer 1 is theatre or ignorance.

Once people realise final settlement is not required for Lightning transactions it will stop using Bitcoin as a ledger to settle on. Simply because that is easier and cheaper.

Anyway, if you want transactions to work at scale it has to be on Layer 1. That's been available for years but the people have rejected it persistently.

Bitcoin has only ever worked in real life as digital gold.

This is a proposal to show how the 18.6 year real estate cycle is a hang over from times where the mechanics of the lunar month were used by high priests of the time to forecast ancient agricultural cycles - what we would today call a business cycle culminating in a financial crisis or a great recession.
