Orwell Test Analytics - Why Women & Non Heterosexual People are Suffering

Looking at X analytics it shows that a recent theme I've been using gets far more impressions from men than women. About 90/10%

The recent theme is called The Orwell Test. The test asks people to imagine a situation where

The "Orwell Test" in Action

Try this: Take any policy that smells authoritarian and ask its defenders:

"If the other side did this exact thing, would you call it Orwellian?"

  • 90% will say yes.
  • 90% will then defend their side doing it.

That's not hypocrisy-it's tribal epistemology. The same brain that aces the 1984 quiz fails the 1984 stress test

The upshot of the test is a proof of personal development challenge. Simply put, am "I cognitively dissonant, yet am not aware of it? "

It's rather a self fulfilling challenge though because the answer is already known beforehand. *Everyone* is cognitively dissonant when it comes to tribal loyalty.

We're all obedient to the tribal narrative for good reason - being seen to be the most obedient people will be rewarded most highly by the tribe.

Its why the Vax was taken by nearly everyone without question. Or masks worn, lockdown obeyed, Palestine and Ukraine supported, Trump hated, climate deniers attacked with impunity, rent seeking blessed as a secret virtue and so on and so on.

Wait... you can see me failing the Orwell Test right here in the last sentence. Do you see?

The Orwell Test is about 'obedience' being the primary driver for individuals acting in a society run as a hierarchy.

With peoples principles (palestine, ukraine, covid etc etc) being a psychic escape, or get out of jail free card - 'moral licensing'. That is to say, "I can allow my government to kill people now because I support climate change".

Our principles which we make spectacular public displays of, are what we use to defend this collective wide dissonance. And our principles come a distant second place to signalling our obedience as instruments of authority.

We game society in the way because it works! I get promoted at work for it. I get more validation from having more friends.

As a leader I will be elected if I am among the best at signalling my obedience to the authority of the tribe. It matters little that I'm robbing the hell out of my electorate or supporting a foreign regime invading their nation in my activity.

There are no exceptions to this social behaviour, everyone is at it more than they are at anything else. I am too, yet I do recognise I am at it and work everyday to correct it, and fail every day.

Onto the analytics: X is showing a 90/10 distribution between men and women for my replies. I think I can explain this.

My activity on X especially on this topic is about obedience. And women are more likely to be obedient(seek the protection of a master figure) and use moral licensing(feelings and emotions) to escape that pathology and help them vote on what happens in the material world.

By saying women should not be leaders I don't mean they are any less than men at all. Often men position themselves poorly too. I do mean women are better than men at a lot of things and they are not undertaking those roles any more so no longer receive the highly valued rewards due to them. Or maybe men are blocking that opportunity by nursing babies for example. Maybe a bit of both.

Once the world only sees wealth and power as their ruler, and God is dead, you can understand why women are so tempted in this way - the non earth bound master they used to use to guide them we have killed. Gay and trans people might be a neurotic hybrid of this and we should look at this too, without judgement or law getting in the way of justice for them.

I realise these observations will upset many people. I'm not saying I support any of it. I am merely pointing at it in the hope it gets proper scrutiny, which clearly over the past 30 years has been lacking.

PETITION: Government to indicate countries of the UK are open to accede to the US

Sign the Petition A Dialogue on the UK's Accession to the United States Executive Summary This initiative seeks to foster a formal dialogue regarding the potential accession of the countries of the United Kingdom , to the United States , as individual states.  Simply put, this petition is asking the government to start a conversation about the benefits of leaving the UK and joining the United States. The objective is to evaluate the benefits to citizens and stakeholders, encouraging a constructive discourse on the political, economic, and social implications of such a union. If Wales , Northern Ireland , Scotland , or  England were to leave the United Kingdom, it would end their system of constitutional monarchy and parliamentary democracy . Instead, if they joined the United States as separate states, they would govern themselves under the U.S. federal system while receiving its protection. This proposal recognises that immediate change is unlikely but urges a serious con...

Facing Draco, Mining Dorado

This is a proposal to show how the 18.6 year real estate cycle is a hang over from times where the mechanics of the lunar month were used by high priests of the time to forecast ancient agricultural cycles - what we would today call a business cycle culminating in a financial crisis or a great recession. The 18.6 year period is governed by the intersection of lunar and solar eclipses. It is known scientifically as the Saros Cycle. Where all 3 harmonics of the orbit of the moon coincide once every 18.6 years. The ancient scholars knew this. And the politicians of the time used it to signal the day when the economy would be deliberately reset by fiat. This reset was necessary because this period was about how long the people of nations could abuse the economy before it was too late to recover on its own and much worse effects would have emerged. So it was the wisdom of the leadership of the time. As the aeons went by, the meaning and rationale of this policy became normalised - people an...

Who Said There Was Anything Wrong With a Worldview?

Who Said There Was Anything Wrong With a Worldview? I didn't. But it's when I believe my worldview, is truth, that I become violent without realising it. This is extremely hard for people to accept as possible. The resistance to seeing it and the temptation to escape from looking, is built into its foundations. So, I never said worldviews are bad for us. I did say that when I believe my worldview is a fact, then "I" become root cause of the worlds problems. Thought creates an image of the world. Then thought worships the image that thought created. I am scared of death. So I create an existential worldview about immortality - an image. This can be a God, a political ideology, scientific religiosity, atheism, planet saving activism, anything which my fear of death can hide behind. So if I do 'good' through this image I created, I will ultimately get a 'seat on the right hand side of God' , or whatever the image I created has defined as heaven. Then I w...
