But not today.
This is evident in the current news hysteria about 'the files', where everyone is projecting the shame and guilt of their own complicity in the world's problems onto it. Assuring far bigger problems remain unattended and helping us all escape from our own much bigger crimes.
On a group walk yesterday I ran another productive de-hypnotising experiment. A nice yet failed liberal Londoner was chatting about 'the files' and how the perps should all be executed. My response was that he must be Jesus Christ to say so with such confidence. Which was a shock to him given the entire world is projecting its darker side onto 'the files'. He literally looked behind himself - without realising it, to see if he was going to be backed by any of the other walkers - closing ranks is a classic escape signal pointing at hidden shame and guilt.
We went through the usual de-conditioning process of 'looking at what is happening in front of your face' many times over. Back to the psychological state of a child of 7 years - who knows and can still see.
This 'state' is one where I am the final arbiter on any important decisions about how I convey myself in the world, no matter how fairly or not I have been treated by it. This state is the only one where I am in total control, or, can regain total control having given it away long ago.
It has nothing to do with fairness, morals, being right or wrong etc etc. It has everything to do with my direct and independent decision to take back my autonomy, reject obedience and putting myself fully back in control of my existence.
God does not want your obedience, but your autonomy
Anyway, this guy was determined enough to proceed with the psychological audit he was not aware he was undergoing. After many iterations where he was trying to use the intellect to escape, he finally confessed by saying "look, I can't disagree with anything we have said, but this is all too much for me I must put it all on hold for now I cannot go on any longer".
He had seen reality happening in front of his face, for a brief moment, was not yet ready to accept it had happened and was now running away from that observation as fast as possible. I've seen it many times. He'd seen that his criticism of leadership and 'the files' is really him projecting the guilt and shame of his own 'crimes' onto it. And escaping back into his own self induced slavery is a better alternative for now.
For an infinitesimal moment which I call a 'singularity', he had 'entered the kingdom'. All I did was take him through a dialogue with no limits - but his choice had nothing to do with me being there. Nothing was assumed. On each question he asked we just looked at what was actually happening with no political, religious or ideological embellishment whatsoever. He had seen, maybe for the first time in 60 years, what was actually happening, in front of his face, in that singularity. For that nanosecond he was no longer looking at a cosy image of the world and worshipping it.
Obviously this is very scary for anyone. Which is why we all try to avoid it. It is the unknown, but theres nothing good or bad about that. It is just, unknown.
But he'd already escaped - he knew something important had just happened to him and was fast moving back onto the safer ground, of obedience.
This healing process is something only I can authorise. I am the final authority you see. No one can help Me with it. I have to choose it 100% autonomously. I am the fire.
If I'm helped in any way, especially by a powerful master figure, such as a religion, I will never change. Because I will not have authorised it. I will still be throwing my duty and obligation onto a master of some kind. Can you see it?
By autonomously ending my obedience I will uncover the inner light which has always been burning inside.
