Power is Not the Problem. I Am.

Even corrupt Power is only a superficial matter. Something much deeper is happening.

It's often heard said: 

"when the people have become corrupt, the worst rise quickly and easily to the top".

I think this is where we are today in the world generally. People on the whole have decided to let go of our obligations, in the hope the waves will not come lapping at our own doors. The hope is that any problems will be thrown only onto those poor souls who are out of sight and out of mind.

It's a gamble. We prefer gambling to the meeting of our obligations. It's easier. An escape. Hoping no one will notice. So many people are like this now, it's  effectively formed into a democratic majority, where the leaders selected are a proxy for this grotesque and corrupt collective of people. So do not blame wealth and power. They are merely giving the great masses exactly what they ask for! Wealth and Power are just an image of Me.

"You get the government you elect. And you get them good and hard"

The brave soul - or is that 'the fool'?, who makes a stand against this corrupt majority will quickly be censored by them or worse. Usually worse. There's no need to call wealth and power for assistance, when the great masse will take care of this heretic, without coercion and for free.

I think this appalling situation, in the face of the huge potential opportunity going unattended, has become possible due to the staggering productive power of the world today - there is so much wealth produced nowadays, for relatively little inputs compared to the past thanks to technology, that even the grotesque wastage DOGE is revealing so bravely, still cannot send the economy into collapse...yet.

It's a pity even DOGE still cannot see the scale of it all, in spite of their good work. It's much worse than even they are saying. Technology is keeping it afloat for a while.

That's not to say it will hold out forever. A 'correction' is inevitable, it's just not today nor in the foreseeable future. At least not for the next year or so.

So Power, per se, is not the problem. Unless I Am, Power.
