Everybody Lies

Everybody lies,
This does not mean people are bad. It is just a fact,
Thought creates an image of the world. Then thought worships the image it created,
Thought does this to escape from the fact that everybody lies,
Thought allows us to escape into a cosy imaginary world - a sort of psychic simulation,
These images thought creates go so deep they are all in conflict inevitably,
The image is so cosy, I defend it, to the death, to the death of others,
When I try to save the world I'm most deeply possessed by this demon simulation,
I've walked into 'a wasteland of inauthentic souls', harming and self harming,
If thought could find a way to suspend the images it creates, would things improve?

If I were able to authentically confess that I am a liar, would I have changed my world?
