Melanie Phillips’ Recent Far Right Thug Smear of Tommy Robinson Is Classic Professional Rivalry. It’s a Pity Because Phillips Has an Excellent Record Until Now. They Should Meet up and See Where Their Worldviews Intersect. And Make Fruit.
See here for an interesting talk with Grok on the system wide cognitive dissonnance surrounding Tommy Robinson and how Melanie Phillips of The Times of London seems to have got herself caught up on the wrong side of it all:
My Grok chat starts off typically aping the mainstream narrative with the inevitable circular reasoning going nowhere. The chat asks why Phillips, in her far right thug smear piece has failed to pursue Robinson in her usual professional, evidence based way, instead smearing him as a far right thug full on mainstream style. This was a shock to me given I follow her closely because she is so good on the absurd Palestinian narrative.
For me her invalid smear cut her credibility by 50% immediately. If she failed here, where else has she failed? She failed to do her usual excellent research and citations, particularly how she totally missed the recent Gaele Joly interview for French mainstream TV with Mr. Robinson debunking everything with clarity. That interview was a real psycho-analytical eye opener for narrative possession if you want to see how a belief system can take over minds without those possessed even knowing about it. Real Jung stuff.
After some scrutiny, to be fair to Grok, it eventually reaches more central ground with an analysis which paves the way for more authentic dialogue in the future.
After several years curing myself of my own my own cognitive dissonnance against Mr. Robinson's political mission, it's clear to me personally almost no one, in the whole world, has given Mr Robinson a fair hearing. Yet everyone is convinced they've done due diligence merely by listening to what they've been told to believe about it, without actually listening to the man himself. Even judges can fall into this trap of the collective psyche. It's epidemic in the political economy and crypto worlds.
These days Robinson is articulate and very well able to make his message abundantly clear to the layman and professional intelligentsia alike. So there's no reason for Phillips not to give him an opportunity to talk. Unless, she really is jealous of him professionally. But has the man not already done enough?
I'm at the courts again tomorrow where everything will be summed up and a verdict given. At lunch where he does a public interview I'm going to ask Mr. Robinson to attempt to engage with Phillips at some point. It's possible to scramble through the barrage of cameras because the mainstream media do not care if they get a piece out of Robinson so won't put up much resistance. I noticed when close up today it would be easy to push past them and ask directly.
Let's give it a go.
