Tommy Robinson is a Great Acid Test - To See How Obedient People Are

On many occasions I've brought up Mr. Robinson's name in relevant discussions. Every single time the response is to smear him using the expected narrative against him.

It's true, there is no way to penetrate this by asking them if they ever listened to what the man is actually saying - its impenetrable. They have never listened to him and have only listened to what peer pressure is saying alone.

I'm not saying Mr. Robinson is always right, though I do listen to him, have met him and spoken to him and believe him on most topics. In the same way I do with everyone.

The point is that if people respond immediately by spouting the narrative, you know right away they are doing it to be rewarded socially - 'to be seen'.

Peoples principles take a distant second place to their need to climb socially. We saw a lot of this during the pandemic, with masks wearing, social distancing, grassing up friends who refused the vax.

This is extremely hard for people to accept as possible. The resistance to seeing it and the temptation to escape from looking, is built into its foundations.
