Two things came up today. 1) Scott Adams declaring it was he who made the socially engineered term 'hypnotised' a thing. 2) @DataRepublican asking why she suddenly got loads of followers.
I like both of them BTW, but, I feel they are not that advanced psychologically yet. That's to say, both are still doing their excellent social media 'on the earth', where nothing happens psychologically.
I often try to reach out to excellent people in a response. Alas, I'm a lowly one with no seat high enough to deserve enough respect to get a hearing from these excellent social engineers. I keep trying though because maybe one in a thousand do respond honourably.
Here's my collective psycho-analysis to their oft asked question, "why am I so great?"
Try to think about the reason being nothing to do with you, per se?
Think about being 'blessed'. Or the blessing being granted to you by the world. Think about you as a channel for the arts. But not being the art itself. And that you cannot own it. You are a channel for it and you were chosen to be that channel.
That is, for some reason, which you may never discover, a large enough collective of people liked what they saw, and acted as a unit, sending your work viral.
Particularly the initial work at the inception of your fame. Especially this inception. Typically everything else will rest on that initial blessing if you can proceed as you have always done so skilfully and maintain the possibility that you are a channel for it and do not own it.
So think about the reason being the collective of people, not you, per se. They chose you as the channel for what they want to hear. You did not ask for it. You were chosen.
So this something is 'held in common' and neither belongs to you individually or power collectively. Sure, collect the royalties all you need, they are mere trinkets. The crown jewels are the art you were chosen to send out there on the channel.
Think about pop stars, celebrities, the wealthy, the powerful, the influencers of the world too, even Mr. Musk for whom I have great respect, in the same way. These leaders are placed there as channels by the collective, for the collective.
This is not to discount your work or you as a person in the least bit at all. It is to answer your question, to point out the possibility that it happened and to observe it without judgement.
And given that possibility it might be true, it is essential you keep on doing things as you are and never change that by imagining this has anything to do with you, such as that you now 'own' it.
...for then the channel will close and the art gone.
