| The Archons have no authority over me unless I first give it to them. |
Archons understood in myth and symbol are internal forces blocking me from autonomy. I use these symbols because they signal truth which cannot be told in any other way. Here it's the fight against these forces blocking me from absolute and unconditional freedom.
The Archons are mythical entities we use to help us to escape from our own complicity in the world. Through our obedience to tribal authority, who provide us with protection in exchange for our autonomy in a kind of contract or material world economic exchange.
Archons are not attached to evil forces or a cabal of wealth and power. They are attached to my own self deep down and hidden. I sent them down long ago in order to escape from doing my duties and meeting my obligations in the world.
No sooner have I projected myself onto external Archons, then I've started my descent. Beware! Stop! Face them head on. Do not project outwards. Grasp hold of them and unite them with the rest of yourself. Talk to them. Ask them what exactly it is they want from you. You may be surprised by their answers.
Archons emerge from not doing the inner work - a deliberate escape into obedience. My obedience is a more cosy place than my autonomy.
It feels like the Archons have overwhelming power and can manipulate me. Persuade me. Exploit me. Coerce me. Nudge me. But this is just my own weakness in my attempt to escape. Archons only have power over me if I give it to them directly. A free choice I already made.
The most sinister Archons are the ones which say "you are being manipulated, follow me instead, like and subscribe"
It's tricky ground because obedience works for me - if I obey I will be rewarded highly by the tribe. If I do not obey the tribe will send me into exile, a virtual death sentence. The tribe as a whole **is** authority.
My world can only be rendered unconscious if "I" deliberately choose a master to obey. If I choose obedience over autonomy.
I can only be manipulated if I submit in this way, a priori.
The Archons have no authority over me unless I first give it to them. **The Inner Work**

A myth, is a truth, which cannot be told in any other way.
