What the media tells you about is a 'program'. It is not what is really happening in totality.

The program always pitches 2 competing tribes fighting against each other. It knows people in general place obedience to the tribe before morals and will religiously take one side or the other.

You believe the tribe you support is the only virtuous one because tribal loyalty 'rewards' you for believing that illusion, not because it actually rewards you or is actually virtuous.

The more hateful each tribe is of the other, the more the program is set in stone in the minds of those people who willingly consent to the program.

The wise old man will watch all this play out like a pantomime. And will make decisions betting against that incoherence for the benefit of his household and his descendants.

Follow the media on either side and you will have consented to this program and all the consequences of that. And your household, descendants and all those around you will now be in danger. Because you chose obedience to the tribe, through the program you watch daily, over autonomous wisdom.

The program isn't created by an evil cabal of wealth and power sitting in a castle tower in northern California. The program is created by you and I watching it religiously, day by day and consenting to it.
