It's a curious thing to watch the 'influencers'. The higher they climb in public, the more the effects come out into the open. No sooner have they become legends in their own lunchtimes than the 'channel' becomes more important than the cause. It's now "all about me" - the ego takes control with the shadow acting unconsciously yet powerfully behind the mask.
I've seen this in myself during my own limited lunchtimes of fame in the past. Its easy to feel and observe what is happening on a sort of 'stage'. I say to myself "Robin, don't do it, you know what it means if you do".
It's exceptionally hard to resist though. Few can, we're only humans possessed by a shadow, after all. Few lunchtimes last long enough for us to do harm. These few seem to be 'blessed' by a demon of sorts and find the energy to continue doing the shadows harm.
Salvation always comes to those who knowing this is impossible to avoid when 'ones time comes', recognise it is happening in the present moment it happens and can confess to it happening. Because then the opportunity arises to reject the demon now in command of ones thought and reject the actions which come from that thought.
What fascinates me is that there always seems to be two great tribes doing battle for Power, led by an oligarchy, followed by an army of slaves. The fascination is that neither side is aware it is possessed by a demon - the thing remains collectively unconscious within each tribe.
All I can say is if you're lucky enough to recognise this demon present in all of us for what it is, and laugh at it. Then you are safely on 'holy ground'.
But this activity of recognition is like a prayer - you must keep doing the observation and recognition, else will fall into the same trap of 'forgetting' and being drawn back into one of the tribes at the source of all the unnecessary conflict.
