Never is the cause religious except to cover up the systemic crime and escape after the conspiracy of the people has decided to kill.
Always it is economic - the appropriation of what nature forbids ownership of, lighting the fuse to set off the next mass war.
The only real philosophical question which demands scrutiny is Why? No one has answered yet. Nor even asked the question with honesty.
De facto gangs masquerade as the state and the government executive are the godfathers. The bureaucracy is the army of assassins doing the killing. The state as a whole is the biggest gang and have legalised the theft through the so called law. The law is just the rules these killers have written down and made holy in a circular argument ad absurdum and infinite regression. The law is just their opinion.
By gangs I do not mean just leadership or wealth & power. They are merely a proxy for the people who allow them to rule already. I mean the entire social organisation is the entity killing each other. The survivors take bags of silver for doing the killing.
But wait, the entire nation of average people - not wealth and power, are running cover for the gang and take bags of silver in exchange. The less obedient people (the poor and needy) paying the most protection money in greater taxation? And even those poor and needy still running cover for the killing.
Yes.
By "killing" I mean the killing of our history, our present and our future.
Who will make a stand on this observation? We cannot rely on those best at public speaking and who look the prettiest - though by God most of them today are so ugly and perverted. Every citizen at every opportunity to discuss it must make a stand and speak up about the killing. Not "their" killing. But "My" killing - the killing I am doing and running cover for.
That is what it means to hold power to account. The people ARE power, not their leaders or the most 'successful' killers.
I do not feel the human has reached this level of personal development yet though. A level where the first duty is to get a conversation going on why all the killing and to look into it authentically.
