Elections Are Won by Those Who Are Better at Buying Votes

In response to restore Britain announcement today where they're very proud that they will be standing a candidate in the Makerfield by-election. 

Great. So what is the strategy?

"You cannot win an election if you only appeal to one of the tribes within the electorate. You need to make your appeal 'cross-tribal'. So forget about racism and open borders. You cannot buy enough votes/seats with such weak propaganda to form a government. 

I hope you aim to win. To do that you need better propaganda. Give the electorate something they can sell their vote for. That is the only way you will win. The Greens are especially good at this. They might win the next election unless they have a decent competitor who can do that job better. I don't like this situation but it is what it is. Do you want to win or do you want to lose? If you don't win, you can't do anything about the country. Yes everyone says this don't they? You have no special magic. It is the only way."

Will they wake up though, drop their ideology and do what every winner always does - buy votes, wholesale and without a care about that. This is what all winners do.

The greens are performing far better right now. In spite of their propaganda being exceptionally weak too, it's still stronger than Restore Britain's by a mile. So Restore Britain will lose after a valiant effort. But what good is a losing valiance to the English, but a sweet ego trip for those partaking. And their descendants will look on them with dishonour.

The most important thing to do is to lose the ideology, all of it. Yes, they can pretend they still believe it. But if they actually still believe it they will lose, because it will be informing their every thought unconsciously - they won't be in control of the activity yet will self hypnotise into thinking they are. No good! A losing action. 

Publicly refuse to see far right or racism. Pitch yourself consciously as a tribe, led by your own tribal narrative. Use conscious tribalism. Anyone can join your tribe so long as they're obedient to it. The race and the ideology are not relevant. Can you see this?

If anyone can join, it's tribal and that is all. Voters understand and can make an easy informed choice to sell their vote to you for what you have on offer. This visibility is what voters want most of all. There is no inroad for your opponents propaganda. You will be in control of the narrative at last. Because you suspended the ideology, cured your blindness, became conscious of your actions. The greens have not got here yet, they are way off and still act unconsciously, only luck is keeping their story ahead and the electorate, though supporting them, do not know why.

OK, so if you can do this, what are you going to promise to sell them for their vote? Does it matter even! In all of democratic history the promises have not once been delivered nor can they ever be. The electorate are wholly selfish and ignorant only wanting what's good for "me". Even an earnest party and leader will lose if they remain possessed by a fantasy of doing the right thing. The people decide for better or for worse.

So sell them whatever it is that has more value to them than their vote, like in every economic exchange they ever made. All people can see this by intuition even the poorly educated. But those still possessed by an ideology cannot see it, blind. 

And importantly sell it consciously with past ideology fully suspended so that you remain in control and can move quickly through the inevitable hiccups on the way. You can only do this if you have become conscious of your tribes epistemology - your tribes story and what it defines as truth. It DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THE TRUTH. Do not get all moral about it else you will lose - the electorate will stop selling their votes to you. They are not moral as a collective in spite of all the charity they boast about doing.

Employ the best salesman you can find to direct it all. They care little about ideas and all about the number. There are thousands of them ready and willing and highly professional. Treat it like a business where you have found the latest tech and are getting it to market. Treat it like a product.

Do not moralise - you will lose. Why feel bad about this. The winners of every election historically have never cared about morals. The electorate certainly do not care either. All candidates who have cared, have lost. Do you think you are something special and will be the first? Are you now a salvific Messiah?

Flip this losing attitude on its head. Become acutely conscious of your story, the story which is selling your product. Drop the ideology and gain control, to move way ahead of the still unconscious competition.

Above all else, make every voter a potential tribe member, WITHOUT EXCEPTION. REALLY REALLY MEAN IT. Do not worry, you do not have to deliver it.
